Guest Student: A student that is currently attending another institution, who is looking to take a course(s) at SCCC to transfer back to their home institution.
High School Concurrent: A student who will be taking college courses while they are still in high school or attending GED classes.
New Freshman: A student who will be attending college for the first time.
- This student may be a recent high school graduate, a high school graduate with concurrent enrollment credits, or a GED/high school equivalent high school graduate.
Returning: A student who has previously attended SCCC and has not attended college in the last two or more semesters.
Seeking GED or ESL Classes: A student who is looking to earn their GED, to take ESL classes, or to take personal development courses.
Transfer: A degree-seeking student who has been attending another college/university and will transfer to SCCC.
